Each of the Nordic countries is represented in the board. The positions as president and secretary are alternated between the countries. A general assembly with a scientific program is held every year.
The Society is represented in the International Society of Neuropathology (ISN), European Confederation of Neuropathological Societies (EURO-CNS) and Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes (UEMS).
